MY JOURNEY

My story began with a love of writing—turning chaos into clarity through words. What started as poems and letters grew into translating complex research for the National Institutes of Health. That skill for making meaning from complexity carried me into federal public health, where I served as a program officer, grant reviewer, and senior public health advisor across multi‑state initiatives. In those roles, I guided community‑based organizations, shaped funding strategies, and supported large‑scale public health programs across the country. That experience later informed my work as director of strategy and transformation at an academic medical school, where I helped teams align vision, operations, and impact.

Through Inspire Impact LLC, I now help purpose-driven organizations move from vision to impact. I founded this consultancy to bring clarity, structure, and strategic momentum to teams ready to grow—with bold ideas, grounded systems, and values they’re ready to live out. Drawing on decades of experience in federal leadership, strategy, and storytelling, I walk alongside clients to build what lasts.

    From there, we pair narrative clarity with practical strategy. Rather than handing over a static report, we walk alongside you through implementation, helping you translate your story into decisions, systems, and action. Our approach integrates governance, finance, and narrative development so your mission isn’t just documented, it’s lived, aligned, and operationalized across your organization.

  • Engagements range from short-term strategy intensives (4–6 weeks) to multi-month partnerships (6–12 months). Each project is tailored to your goals, budget, and timeline. During your discovery call, we’ll determine the right scope and pacing for meaningful, measurable results.

  • The standard rate is $160/hour. We also offer retainer discounts (monthly and yearly) for organizations that want priority access, as well as project‑based pricing tailored to scope and level of support. Because much of our work is with mission‑driven nonprofits, we also provide nonprofit‑accessible pricing for organizations whose budgets cannot support the full rate. Our goal is to ensure that values‑aligned partners can access the strategy, structure, and narrative support they need to advance their mission.

  • Yes. Grant development and narrative strategy are core strengths of our work. I bring experience from multiple sides of the funding process — writing grants at the University of Texas at Austin, reviewing and approving grants during my federal service at HHS, and developing successful proposals for nonprofits.

    This perspective helps organizations align their stories, budgets, and data with funder priorities, translating vision into compelling, fundable proposals that reflect real impact.
